Burning abdominal pain

An unpleasant feeling or discomfort feeling in the stomach or belly, commonly right around the bottom of the rib cage on the front; may feel like burning; it often occurs with Indigestion it is also called dyspepsia. Indigestion is frequently an indication of a hidden issue, such as gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD), ulcers, or gallbladder disease, etc.

People of any age may have an indigestion problem. It's a common condition, but certain things make a few people more prone to it. Causes of abdomen pain may include

  •  Ulcers
  •  GERD
  •  Stomach cancer. This is uncommon.
  •  Gastroparesis, a condition where the stomach doesn't empty appropriately. It regularly happens to individuals with diabetes.
  •  Stomach infections
  •  Irritable bowel syndrome
  • Pancreatitis, an inflamed pancreas
  • Thyroid disease

You probably won't require any treatment at all. Indigestion often goes away on its own after a couple of hours. But let your physician know if your symptoms get worse. Any treatment you get will rely upon what's causing your indigestion. You can also do a few things on your own to ease your symptoms:

  • Try not to chew with your open mouth, talk while you chew or eat too fast. This makes you swallow a lot of air, which can add to indigestion
  •  Drink beverages after rather than during meals.
  •  Maintain a strategic distance from late-night eating.
  •  Try to relax after meals.
  •  Maintain a strategic distance from spicy foods.
  •  Don't smoke.
  •  Maintain a strategic distance from alcohol.
